Bill Liebbe is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has stood beside individuals suffering from catastrophic injuries over 38 years. During his career, Bill has acquired a far-reaching knowledge of medical issues and has earned the respect of professionals, and the friendship of clients served.

He is an invited member of the National Trial Lawyers Association, an honor offered to only 100 attorneys in each state, sits on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and is a past president of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. Bill is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer, a Thomson Reuters Service printed in Texas Monthly Magazine, every year since 2005.

Bill has been awarded the highest accolade in Martindale-Hubbell; an AV rating, as a result of an extensive, confidential review conducted among the legal profession in his community.

TEACHING OTHER LAWYERS
Bill is frequently called by other lawyers for advice on personal injury cases. He is dedicated to helping other lawyers develop and hone their skills . A frequent invited speaker at continuing legal education courses across the State of Texas, Bill has authorized and presented over thirty original papers on Personal Injury Trial Law at conferences sponsored by The State Bar of Texas, The Texas Trial Lawyers Association, The University of Texas School of Law, and local trial lawyer associations across the state. He has been a Trial Advocacy Instructor at the Southern Methodist University-Dedman School of Law and the Trial Advocacy College of Texas.

PERSONAL
William Howard Liebbe is a sixth-generation Texan and the third of six children born to Robert and Evelyn Liebbe. He was born September 20, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas.

Bill attended Southern Methodist University on a music scholarship and earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science in 1976. Following a year in the MBA program, Bill began law school at the SMU School of Law and graduated in 1980. During his eight years on the “Hilltop”, Bill performed numerous trumpet solos during games and concerts and is one of the few lawyers in the country who went through law school on a music scholarship.

In 1980, Bill joined the firm of McKool and Vassalo where he practiced general civil litigation and first began working with clients suffering from serious injury. It wasn't long before Bill discovered a calling to serve those harmed by the wrongdoing of others.

In 1987, Bill joined the Law Office of Windle Turley in Dallas where he handled cases in the field of medical and hospital malpractice exclusively.

In 1989, Bill formed his own law firm so that he could give every client his personal attention. Unlike other law firms where you may not know who the lawyer is that is working on your case, when you hire The Liebbe Firm, Bill Liebbe is the only lawyer who will work on your case.

Bill is dedicated to continuing education in his field. He has completed numerous courses to further his own understanding and has been a course instuctor, most recently an advanced medical malpractice course for the State Bar of Texas.
